1 can chicken broth (I buy those boxes of chicken broth and actually use about 1/2 to 2/3 of the box)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
2 cups of water
2 cups of milk
1 sausage (fried and drained) (OPTIONAL)
(salt and pepper to taste, if wanted)
I bring the chicken broth, chicken soup, celery soup, water and
milk (I added 4 oz cream cheese to the pot I brought to the house) to a
bubbly boil and then add the frozen hash browns. Stir in hash browns and
break up. Bring to boil again then lower heat and cook approx. 1 hour
(stirring periodically to prevent sticking).
Serve with grated cheese, bacon bits, and chives (if desired). Enjoy!!!!
