2 oz bourbon or rye whiskey
1 tsp simple syrup
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Orange peel and maraschino cherry
Add simple syrup and bitters to glass. Fill halfway with ice and stir. Squeeze orange peel over ice, then drop into drink. Add whiskey and stir again. Add more ice to almost fill glass. Garnish with cherry and serve with cocktail straw.
