1 deep dish frozen pie shell
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c softened margarine
3/4 c sugar
3 eggs
1 dash of salt
1/4 c white Karo syrup
1/2 c milk
1 c chopped pecans
1/2 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350. In double boiler or heavy pan, cream brown sugar and margarine. Stir in sugar, eggs, salt, syrup and milk. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in nuts and vanilla. Pour into pie crust and bake 50 minutes or until set.
